What is 7-ADB?

7-ADB is an interesting chemical to study. Recently discovered 7’N-5F-ADB is a synthetic cannabinoid produced from 5F-ADB(a synthetic cannabinoid with an indazole base), a powerful agonist of the CB1 receptor. 7-ADB IUPAC name is (S)-2-(1-(5-fluoropentyl)-1H-indazole-3-carboxamide)-3,3-dimethylbutanoic acid.

7-ADB or its metabolite, 5-fluoro ADB metabolism, and mass spectrum fragmentation pattern have not yet been fully studied. It was investigated whether 7’N-5F-ADB and 5F-ADB could be differentiated using LC-HRMS/MS utilizing both in vitro and in vivo models for investigations on metabolism.
